This sub-contract, undertaken for Midas Interiors raised particular challenges. For many years we have worked in busy high street locations, individual banks, building societies, retail stores, town halls etc. This contract was carried out on a rolling programme of work to 15 branches throughout Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset over a 5 month period. Working with the main contractor and other sub-contractors such as scaffolders, painters and decorators and other trades a detailed programme was developed. When working in high street locations the number one priority is always the protection of the public, the clients, customers and staff. For this reason all stone cleaning, noisy or disruptive work was carried out, outside of normal working hours. The total value of our work on this contract was over £150k.
